Every medicine path is composed in conversation, informed by your history, your intentions, and your readiness.
We do not serve from a menu. Four sacred medicine ceremonies are held across the week, and which medicines are composed for you within them is decided together, in private consultation: some allies will call to you now, others will wait for another season of your life. You may choose to sit in all four ceremonies, or fewer; every threshold is yours. This is what it means for medicine work to be intentionally curated: the container is ancient, the care is bespoke.
This work is not something we order. It is something we live. We have traveled to the Amazon jungle of Peru to source kambo safely and ethically from the people and the land it belongs to. We have gone to the Sonoran Desert of Mexico to source bufo with the same reverence, and to Egypt for Acacia and Syrian Rue, the initiatory medicines of the ancient temples. Every medicine at REVIVE carries a lineage we have met in person: the place, the people, the practice.
We believe a woman deserves to know that what is served to her was gathered with integrity, held with respect, and carried home by the same hands that will hold her ceremony.
Rapé. Sacred Amazonian snuff, blown in ceremony: a grounding medicine of clarity and presence that stills the mind, opens the breath, and returns you to the body. It opens and decalcifies the third eye, clearing a pathway to invite in deeper clarity and inner sight.
Kambo. The warrior frog medicine of the Amazon, a profound physical purification honored for centuries as a cleanser of what the body holds, a reset of vitality and resolve.
Bufo. The sacred toad medicine of the Sonoran Desert: the most direct doorway we hold. A brief, complete dissolution into what remains when everything else falls away. Served with the deepest reverence, preparation, and integration care.
Acacia & Syrian Rue. The Tree of Life medicine of Ancient Egypt, where acacia was used for spiritual initiation. Lost for millennia, this medicine is resurfacing to support the rise of the divine feminine. Her spirit is nurturing and empowering, guiding you gently into the depths of your being toward higher consciousness and the awareness of your own infinite light.
Psilocybin. The teacher mushroom, held for those whose path calls for its particular gentleness with grief, connection, and the remembering of wonder.
Set, setting, ritual, music, breath, nature, facilitation, community: these are not decoration. They are the load-bearing structure that determines whether a non-ordinary state metabolizes into lasting change.

Medical and psychological screening precedes every invitation. Ceremonies are trauma-informed and consent-led, held by facilitators with years in service. Preparation begins weeks before you arrive; integration continues for eight weeks after you leave, because integration is where transformation becomes real. After ceremony comes the deeper, intentional work, the part of the path where the gold lives: returning to partners, family, friendships, work, and cities or countries that may not feel the same, the life that did not journey with you, and weaving what shifted into your ordinary days so it takes root instead of fading.

We operate in Costa Rica, and sacred medicines are administered only where and as the law allows, by trained facilitators, within trauma-informed therapeutic frameworks. The specifics of each offering are discussed openly during the invitation process.
No, and we say so plainly, because many guests searching for an ayahuasca retreat in Costa Rica find us while looking for that depth of visionary work. We honor the grandmother tradition deeply. What we hold instead is an Acacia and Syrian Rue ceremony: the Tree of Life medicine of Ancient Egypt, a longer visionary journey of comparable depth rooted in a different lineage. In private consultation we will talk honestly about whether this path is right for you.

Yes. REVIVE 2027, January 16 to 23, is the first women-only retreat in Pura Vida Collective's history: eight days of ceremony, science, and sisterhood culminating under the full Wolf Moon.
At our private jungle sanctuary above Playa Junquillal in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, inside the Nicoya Peninsula Blue Zone, reachable from Liberia International Airport (LIR). The sanctuary hosts one small group at a time.
